EP 66 - Joseph Warner

Emerging from a background of classical chamber and orchestral music as well as different genres of jazz Joseph Warner commits himself exclusively to the exploration of the sound abilities of the double bass. His research in the field of extended techniques and harmonics has brought him a wide audience in the avantgarde environment. However, he never denies the traditional sound cosmos where he has come from. Being a descendant of both worlds he nowadays meanders in the no man’s land between avantgarde and improvisation.
